What is ApuliaTours?
ApuliaTours is Giorgio’s project, a licensed guide since 2010. Born among dialects, gestures, and border stories, it doesn’t define itself as “just Italian” but Mediterranean. The goal is to connect what you see with what you feel: homemade cuisine and ceramics, oil beyond the label, knives, caves, and heights that show why visiting at the right moment matters more than ticking off a bucket list.
Alongside Giorgio is a network of people chosen for empathy and care for their land: artisans, home cooks, friendly guides, producers who safeguard their knowledge. We don’t collect “must-sees”: we craft days that make sense for your date, your group, your interests.
Where we work
Puglia and Basilicata, with special attention to the Valle d’Itria, and tailor-made days also in Gargano, Salento, and Matera when timing and logistics make sense. No commercial packages, only authentic experiences designed just for you.
What we do
We design tailor-made days/experiences. Private, essential, at the right pace. Living traditions, real encounters, explanations that help you understand and choose, making you feel part of the local social fabric—even if only for a few hours. From tasting oil with care to Grottaglie and Laterza ceramics, told as a fusion of earth, water, air, and fire. The goal is simple: put the order of things in the right sequence. Less waiting, more meaning.
